What does my ticket cover?

A delegate ticket to ScareCON includes access to all the workshops and seminars, backstage tours and live events and access to the ScareBall including evening meal, live entertainment, SCAR awards and aftershow party

How long will the convention last?

The daytime convention starts around 10.30 and will finish at approximately 5.30. The evening events are due to finish by approximately 3am

Timings for the on park activities on May 23rd have yet to be confirmed

If I book and then can't go, can I get a refund?

As ScareCON has to commit to the venue in advance of the date, all bookings are non refundable, unless ScareCON cancel the event.

What trade exhibitors can I expect to see?

A full list of trade exhibitors will be provided nearer the date.

Will the attendees be from a wide range of business sizes or is it all large companies?

Whether you are starting out in the industry or have been hosting attractions for years there will be something for everyone at ScareCON.

Can I use ScareCON to promote my services or attraction?

Advertising or promotion is strictly by advance arrangement with ScareCON via an exhibitor stand or sponsorship promotion.  Any individual using ScareCON to promote their services or events without prior written permission will be asked to leave with no refund.

Is there sufficient parking at the venue?

There is plenty of parking available at the site. Please check the Location page for details about how to travel to Dreamland Margate.

Do I have to dress up for the evening event?

If you don't want to feel left out then YES! Look at the pictures of previous events - we all LOVE dressing up!

How long has ScareCON been running this/these events?

The first ScareCON was held in 2008. Since then, the event has been attended by representatives from all the major scare events and attractions across the UK and Europe. It is the ONLY show of its kind in Europe.

Is ScareCON affiliated with any other scare attraction website?

ScareCON, ScareTOUR and Michael Bolton Scare Consulting are all affiliated under the name ScareCON and as such, information is shared accordingly between sites. These sites are unconnected to any other listing or review sites in the UK and are 100% independent from any attractions or events in the scare attractions industry.
